Gale Long
Licensed Davis Dyslexia
Correction ® Facilitator
|
In 1999, Gale Long became aware of the Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program while reading The Gift of Dyslexia and questioned whether the Davis method could be the solution for those she knew who were struggling in their lives. She knew of many parents who had spent hundreds of hours searching for a solution for their children without success. Gale traveled to the Davis Dyslexia Association International training facility to learn whether this program could be the solution. Her questions were emphatically answered and she decided at that time to pursue a career as a facilitator. She completed her training to become a licensed facilitator in 2000. She was privileged to train directly under Ronald Davis at the Burlingame, California training center.
The New Horizons office is spacious and comfortable for the students. The work area has a private restroom, and an area for relaxation/lunch if he chooses to remain for the lunch break. Restaurants and shops are located nearby if the parent is able to meet with the student for lunch. New Horizons is located just outside the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia. The office is easily accessible to I-64, I-77 and I-79.
Programs can be provided at New Horizons or at your location if it is more convenient for your family situation.
