When I first met Gale, I could not read the books I liked and really could not read any book in my classroom. I felt very upset. After working with the clay and working on reading, I remember beginning to read and no longer felt frustrated and stressed out about reading. One thing I liked about the Davis program is that it wasn't just work, it was a lot of fun. I really liked the clay, but reading has been hard for me. Ms. Gale put the something I really like with something I had trouble with and this made the reading easier for me. Ms. Gale taught me a lot of tools so now I can help myself when I feel disoriented or if I'm struggling. I still sometimes have a hard time, but I know if I always try to remember to use my tools it will be easier. |

Tyler had lost out on a lot of basic skills in schools, especially in reading. His self-esteem was suffering. We went to Sylvan Learning Center for three years and did not see any improvement. We did not want to give up. After a Davis assessment, we discovered Tyler's problem was dyslexia. He has improved in so many ways including his confidence and social skills. Last Christmas, after completing the program, Tyler was able to read from the Bible. That was better than any gift I could ever open. |

This program has helped make my school work easier. I understand my work now and my grades have gone up. I can read a lot faster. I can see the pictures in my mind because I understand what I am reading now. You will have a great time doing this program and making clay models. Gale is nice and fun to work with. She will help you a lot. The Davis Program will help you for the rest of your life. |
